This memorial website was created to remember our dearest  husband, father, brother and uncle, James Tabot Ashu, born October 6th, 1945 and who passed away on July 29th, 2015 in Boston Massachusetts, USA. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Funeral Program

The Viewing & Funeral Service is on Saturday Sept 12, 2015 from 3 pm to 5 pm at
Stanton Funeral Home

The Wake is scheduled for the same Saturday Sept 12, 2015 in Boston from 5 pm to 1 am at

Viewing & Burial Program (Cameroon)

Tuesday 15th of September 2105
5.PM: Reception of corpse at the Douala International Airport.
Brief stop at the residence of Senator Nfor Tabetando
Conveyance of corpse to the Buea Regional Hospital mortuary for preservation.
Wednesday 16th of September 2015.
7.PM: Wake-Keep without corpse at the Deceased’s residence at Biyem-Assi Tam-tam weekend, Yaounde.
Friday 18th of September 2015.
7.AM: Removal of corpse from the Buea Regional Hospital Mortuary and departure for Bachuo-Ntai Village, Manyu Division.
3.30 PM: Brief stop at the maternal compound at Bachuo-Akagbe Village
4.30 PM: Arrival at Bachuo-Ntai Village.
Laying in state and viewing.
6.30 PM: preservation of casket at the Mamfe Hospital Mortuary.
7.PM till dawn: Wake-keep at Bachuo-Ntai Village
Saturday 19th of September.
8.AM: Transfer of Casket to the family compound at Bachuo-Ntai village
Traditional rites.
Funeral service
11.AM: Burial
Entertainment and departure of mourners.
